UTTARAKHAND ITINERARY

  • Day 01: Arrive in Delhi & Drive to Mussoorie ( 08 Hrs.)
    On Arrival, pick up from Delhi and proceed toward Mussoorie. Mussoorie is a beautiful hill station in Uttaranchal. It is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas and is known as the Queen of the Hills. Mussoorie derives its name from the plants of Mussoorie or shrub Mansoor, which are available in large quantities in this region. The lush green hills, the varied flora and fauna, and the majestic view of the Shivalik range and the Doon Valley attract hundreds of tourists, both domestic and international, to Mussoorie each year. Mussoorie is famous not only for its scenic beauty but also for its development into an important center of education and business. Mussoorie is also famous for the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, where officers are trained for the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service. Arrive at Mussoorie, transfer to the Hotel, check in to the Hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel at Mussoorie.   • Day 02: Mussoorie Local Sightseeing
    After breakfast, visit Kempty Falls, Kepty Falls, Municipal Garden, Gun Hill, Company Garden, Mall Road, etc. Lal Tibba: This is regarded as the highest point in Mussoorie, situated in an area called “Landour.” Which is known to be the oldest inhabited place in Mussoorie Gun Hill. Gun Hill is the second-highest point in Mussoorie.it is also known as a picnic spot for the locals. From this point, Mussoorie appears to be changing colors every minute. It looks impressive from here. Municipal Garden: This is also known as the Botanical Gardens of Mussoorie. Geologist Dr. H. Fackner established it in the last century. Kempty Fall: Kempty Fall is just 12 km down from Mussoorie on the Mussoorie – Dehradun midway; the beautiful falls were declared a tourist destination by John Mekinan after 1835. The name Kempty is derived from ‘Camp – tea,’ as the Britishers would organize their tea parties here. Past Kempty Fall, 12 – km downhill. Later, go back to the Hotel, free for leisure.   • Day 03: Mussoorie to Corbett ( 07 Hrs.)
    After breakfast, we checked in from the Hotel and proceeded to Corbett by road. Corbett National Park: A promising land for the world species at Ramnagar in Nainital district in Uttarakhand. The Corbett National Park is the most dwindling part of nature resizing at the Himalayan foot hill & Shivalik ranges and is being called the perfect tiger’s land. India’s first noticed a wildlife sanctuary and a national park, established in the year 1936, bringing the opportunity to hold the largest tiger population in the vicinity. Corbett remains open from mid-November to mid-June; the main reason for the closure of the park during the rest of the year is that the monsoon makes most of the roads wash away. After the monsoon, the repair work starts, and it is only by Nov. That roads are back in motive conditions. On Arrival at Corbett, transfer to the Hotel and check in to the Hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the Hotel at Corbett.
  • Day 04: Corbett Local Tour
    After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in the park by jeep(Optional by paying Additional cost) to view some of the most exotic wildlife and the flora & fauna. Later in the afternoon, proceed for yet another game-viewing drive & try your luck to spot the tiger. Later, back to the Hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure, and there is an overnight stay at the Hotel at Corbett.
  • Day 05 : Corbett to Kausani ( 04 Hrs.)
    After breakfast, check out from the Hotel, then drive to Kausani. Kausani: nature’s own reserve and idle to spend a quiet holiday in the lap of nature with a stunning view of the Himalayan ranges. During his stay at Kausani, Mahatma Gandhi penned his memorable commentary on the ‘Gita-Anashakti Yoga’ inspired by the scenic grandeur of this richly gifted spot. Mahatma Gandhi was so impressed that he started calling it the “Switzerland of India.” The guesthouse where Mahatma Gandhi stayed is now known as the Anashakti Ashram. Famous Hindi poet Sumitra Nandan Pant was born in Kausani. Some of her early poems composed here have described nature in its manifestations. Arrive at Kausani, transfer to Hotel, and check in to Hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit a Tea factory to see the complete process of manufacturing Tea. The rest of the evening is at leisure, with an overnight stay at the Hotel at Kausani.
  • Day 06 : Kausani – Baijnath – Kausani ( 01 Hrs.)
    Today, after breakfast, we proceed to Baijnath Temple. Baijnath Temple is a venerable shrine of Uttrakhand. It is stationed 16 km from Kausani on the banks of Gomti in Gruda Valley. It is said to have been built by Kumaon Katyuri King in 1150 A.D. It used to be the capital of the Katyuri dynasty of kings who ruled over Uttarakhand during the 12th and 13th centuries. Earlier, Bijnath was known as ‘Kartiykapura’. The temple is devoted to lord Shiva and holds significant importance because, as the mythology says, lord Shiva and Parvati were married on the conflux of River Gomti and Garur Ganga. Lord Shiva is one of the gods in the trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiv); hence, this place becomes significantly more important among devotees. Evening return to Hotel and full day free for leisure.   • Day 07 : Kausani to Nainital ( 03 Hrs.)
    After breakfast, drive to the Nainital. Nainital: is referred to as the lake of three sages, or the Tri Rishi Sarovar, as mentioned in the Manas Khand chapter of the Skanda Purana. As recorded in history, the three sages, Atri, Pulastya, and Pulaha, stopped over at Nainital on their pilgrimage to quench their thirst. Finding no water, they dug a hole and transferred some water from the sacred lake of Tibet, Mansarovar, into it. Thus, the famous lake of Nainital came into existence. Another legend has it that the left eye or Nain of Lord Shiva’s wife Sati fell in this center and formed an emerald eye-shaped lake, thus evoking the city of Nainital. Recent history records reveal that Nainital was brought into the limelight by P. Barron, a British sugar merchant, in 1839. The beauty of Nainital, with the central lake cushioned among the forests, attracted this person to build a house named Pilgrim’s Cottage and settle in Nainital. Arrive at Nainital, transfer to Hotel, and Check in to Hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure. In the evening, you will walk to Naini Lake and Mall Road. Overnight stay at Hotel at Nainital.   • Day 08: Nainital Local Sightseeing
    After breakfast, spend a full day at leisure exploring the hill retreat of Nainital. It is blessed with scenic natural splendor and varied natural resources. Visit lakes tour of Bhim Tal, Sat Tal, Naukuchia Tal, Snow Point, Thandi Sadak, cable car & Mall Road, etc. Later back to the Hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel at Nainital. (Nainital Mall Road Sight Seeing Not included)
  • Day 09: Nainital to Delhi Drop ( 09 Hrs.)
    After breakfast, we checked out from the Hotel and proceeded to Delhi by road. On Arrival, you will be transferred to the airport/railway station to board the flight/Train back home.
